Charles Takyi hails Viktoria despite Jena stalemate

Ghanaian striker Charles Takyi was left satisfied with Viktoria 1889 Berlin 0-0 draw against Jena in the Regionalliga Nordost league over the weekend.

The 30-year-old who now plays for the lower division side lasted the entire duration of the game as they laboured to the stalemate.

The former Black Stars striker said he was satisfied with the outcome.

“If you look at the history of the game, we have gained,” he said.

“At the end we could have won even, but at the end of the day, we can live well with the point.”
