Champions League joy for Udinese duo

Kwadwo Asamoah and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu are celebrating European Champions League qualification after their Italian side Udinese finished fourth in the Italian Serie A.

It was the first time the Italian club with strong Ghanaian links has qualified for Europe's elite competition.

Their goalless draw against AC Milan on Sunday night at their Fruili Stadium ensures they finish in the last Champions League spot for Italian clubs and could ensure that their key Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah stays at the club for at least another season.

Asamoah was a key member of the side this season, making 38 appearances ie every game and scoring twice in their run.

Agyemang Badu had less of an influence with just eight appearances most of them from the bench.
