Cape Coast fans jubilate over Black Stars victory

Cape Coast, Jan. 25, GNA - Hundreds of football fans in the Cape Coast Metropolis took to the street to celebrate the Black Stars 1-0 victory over Angola in the on going African Cup of Nations in Angola.

The jubilant crowd went on a carnival through the principal streets of the Metropolis amidst brass band music and "kolomashie".

The carnival ended at Asianda, a 24-hour drinking spot in the heart of Cape Coast where fans engaged in dancing, singing and drinking. Other beer bars were filled to capacity while taxi cabs clad in Ghana flags went on convoy amidst tooting of horns.

Nana Aidoo, Chief Executive of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs, in an interview with GNA Sports congratulated the Black Stars for their wonderful performance and asked them to keep it up to ensure the annex the ultimate cup. 25 Jan. 10
