Bristol Rovers chasing Hiram Boateng

Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Boateng is being tracked by English League One side Bristol Rovers.

Boateng, who plays for Crystal Palace, appears to be looking for new destination after being told he cannot be guaranteed regular playing time at the club.

Rovers have jumped into the fray to sign the midfielder on loan to continue with his development.

Manager Darrell Clarke wants to augment his squad and has identified the Ghanaian as a midfield engine to steer his side this term.

The 20-year-old has played for Crawley Town and Plymouth Argyle all on loan.

He has been adjudged Palace Young Player of the Year on two occasions.
