Black Stars Players Satisfied With Pay Package – Abedi Pele

A member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association, Abedi Ayew Pele says players in the senior national football team, the Black Stars are satisfied with their pay package.

Abedi Pele did not give details of how much the players are being paid in daily allowances and bonuses as they prepare for Sunday’s quarterfinal match against Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations in Mali.

Speaking to the BBC, he said the financial package for the players was decided on before the team left Accra for Mali. In apparent reference to the dismissal of Germany-based Samuel Osei Kuffuor from the squad, Abedi Pele said some players initially kicked aginst their bonuses but added that the issue has been resolved.
