Black Satellites beaten

Central Region division two campaigners, BRM Stars, beat Ghana’s Black Satellites, the National Under 21 soccer team 1-0 in a friendly match played at the Cape Coast Sport Stadium at weekend.

BRM, playing one of their best games in recent times outclassed the Satellites in all departments of the game but had to wait until the 36th minute to go ahead when outside left Kofi Baah Jnr. scored with a header. In the second half, BRM continued to dominate the game but their forwards squandered many chances that came their way.

In the dying minutes, Satellites changed the tide in their favour and nearly equalised but substitute Stephen Attipoe fluffed the opportunity. Coach Isaac Paha, in charge of the Satellites, attributed their loss to stress "as the team had played three friendly matches the week before."
