Black Challenge berth at finals

The National Amputee team the Black challenge on Friday booked their ticket to the final of the on-going 3rd cup of Africa nations for Amputee football.

The Black Challenge beat Angola by 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Skipper Richard Opentil shot Ghana into the lead on the 23rd minute. Substitute Joseph Amoah increased the tally just on the stroke of full time to earn Ghana a comfortable place in the final.

In the other match, defending champions Liberia after a goalless drawn game in regulation time, managed to beat Sierra-Leone 4-3 on Penalties.

Ghana will now face Liberia in the finale this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
