Baffoe leaves for FIFPro Congress

Accra, Nov. 8, GNA - Anthony Baffoe, General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), leaves Accra on Monday night for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the Congress of the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro). The Congress, which will have representatives of 52 Players' Unions across the World, takes place from November 10-11, 2010 in the Malaysian capital.

Baffoe told GNA Sports that issues to be discussed at the annual general meeting include professionalization of FIFPro, Corporate Social Responsibility, FIFA FIFPro World XI, the Court of Arbitration of Sports as well as review and update on all sorts of FIFA decisions regarding players.

The ex-national defender said the African members will also discuss ways towards strengthening and making the union popular on the continent.

The PFAG General Secretary returns on November 13.
