Ghana defender Baba Rahman completed a full training session under new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte for the first time today.

The 22-year-old defender who will have to hugely impress this season was among players the coach worked with on his first turn out to Cobham.

Baba Rahman, who joined from Augsburg last summer as one of the highly rated African defenders showed glimpses of brilliance but still has a lot to do to win over the Chelsea fans this season.

Having managed to impress in the last five games of last season the defender is one of the players who must lift their game under the Italian gaffer.

Early indications are that he will profit from Italian manager Conte who is regarded as one of the best tacticians of modern day football.

Baba alongside defender and skipper John Terry and Betrand Traore from Burkina Faso all worked extremely hard and showed good physique on the first day of the new boss.

The Italian manager is expected to meet the English Press for the first time tomorrow 2:00 pm United Kingdom time.
