B.A Stars pip Ebusua Dwarfs

Sunyani, Nov. 07, GNA - B.A. Stars managed to pip visiting Cape Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 in the Glo Premier League match at the Coronation Park, Sunyani on Sunyani. The only goal of the match was scored by Daniel Larbi Koomson in the 16 minute and just after that Dwarfs nearly equalized in the 19th minute but Bancey Seidu after beating a host of defenders of B.A. Stars surprisingly shot into the outstretched hands of keeper Mohammed Nurideen.

Dwarfs were not discouraged as they kept on pressing their opponents but were held in check by the midfield machinery of the home team. In the 36th minute, Samuel Adams of B.A. Stars nearly increased his side's goal tally but his header was saved beautifully by the Dwarfs goalie Adade Foli. In an effort to reduce the pressure on them, Dwarfs made two changes towards the tail end of the match but the changes could not change the tide in their tide. On resumption of the second half the two sides resorted to hard tackles with Dwarfs slightly on top of affairs but try as they did they could not find the equalizer till the final whistle.
