Awal Mohammed on the radar of two unnamed Dutch sides

Maritzburg United defender Awal Mohammed could be set for a move to the Dutch Eredivisie with two unnamed clubs said to be monitoring his performance.

Mohammed has less than a year on his contract and reported to have rejected an offer to extend his stay with the Team of Choice.

He has been a pillar in Steve Komphela’s impressive side this season and Maritzburg have not hidden their intention to hold on to their prized jewel.

But the former Kotoko defender is said to have his eyes on a move elsewhere and is dragging his feet on a new contract.
