Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Distrcit to organise award winning soccer competition

Brakwa, (C/R) Dec. 28, GNA - The Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District Assembly in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service has planned to organize 'Prize Winning Awards' soccer gala for Boys and Girls at Breman Asikuma as part of Christmas activities. The Assembly has therefore urged communities in the District to prepare their teams for the gala competition scheduled for Friday, December 30 at Breman Asikuma. At another gala organised on Tuesday at Brakwa, Ambapam Electoral Area beat Ankobea Electoral Area 3-1 while Ohenebronso beat Abrodease 2-1 in the Boys Division.

In the Girls Division, a combined team of Ohenebronso and Ankobea Electoral Areas played a goalless drawn game against a combined team of the Ampabam and Ankobea electoral areas.
