Trio sit out World Cup training match

Ghana trio-John Mensah, Haminu Draman and Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu sat out Thursday’s training match played at their pre-World Cup camping base in Paris, France.

Mensah, whose loan spell at Sunderland was plagued with injuries, is making steady progress and did not take risk by playing in the match.

A source told Ghanasoccernet.com the decision to rest the huge centre-back is precautionary.
