Asamerik F/C beats Real United

Cape Coast, Sept.26, GNA-Cape Coast Asamerik F/C played a determined game to beat Nyinasin Real United 2-0 in their outstanding second division league match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Thursday.

After a goalless first half in which United outplayed their opponents, the Asameriku boys resumed strongly and got the opening goal through centre forward, Ebenezer Akumpong, in the 55th minute. United made frantic efforts to equalise but their hopes of levelling up with the home team were dashed, when inside right, Moses Seiser, increased the score to 2-0 in a goalmouth scramble in the 85th minute. In another development, Efutu Breku FC played a spectacular game to hold Oguaa United to a 1-1 draw.
