Appiah launches website

Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has launched his official website to help promote the activities of his charity – the Stepapp Foundation.

Www.stepapp.com will also help the Fenerbahce midfielder to better communicate with the supporters of the Black Stars and fans of the Turkey side.

Appiah launched the website in Istanbul on Thursday and said the demand for information on his activities prompted him to go on the worldwide web. “I am always impressed with the request from the media and fans to get information on what I do daily,” the Back Stars captain said.

“This is why I decided to set up the website so that I can better communicate with my fans and journalists across the world.

“The most thing for me however is that I want to use this website to publicise the activities of my charity, the Stepapp Foundation, to help the poor in my country. “In the coming months I will be unveiling plans to make the health charity better so that we can continue our activities of enhancing the health of the poor up and down the country.

“The African Cup of Nations is fast approaching and I want to use this medium to communicate with the fans about our preparation and also activities surrounding the national team.

“Fenerbahce fans will also discover news on the team on and how we prepare for games."

Stepapp.com will be managed by Ghanaian and international football journalists who are experienced in the industry.

Appiah will write a regular column on his website and he will regularly chat with his fans through this medium. The website will also host latest news on Ghanaian and African players across the world.
