Borussia Dortmund signed Ghana striker Matthew Amoah from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday.

Amoah will join the club in January and received a contract until the end of the 2007-08 season.

Amoah played under Dortmund coach Bert van Marwijk at Dutch club Fortuna Sittard in 2000.
