Ainooson signs Kotoko extension

Asante Kotoko have confirmed defender Abeiku Ainooson has signed a new one-year contract extension.

The centre-back’s contract runs out in September this year but has decided to extend his stay by a further 12 months.

Kotoko official Twitter account on Thursday posted: “DONEDEAL: Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson will stay at the club till September 2016.”

Ainooson was signed two seasons ago from New Edubiase United to replace Rashid Sumaila and has been a massive hit.

His steel defending help the Porcupine Warriors to win the league and cup double last season.
