Aggrey Memorial qualify for finals

Cape Coast, Jan 16. GNA - Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School qualified for the finals when they spanked Ghana National College 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Central Region Zone One Inter-Schools and Colleges Soccer Milo league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium on Tuesday.

Aggrey School led 2-0 at half time from goals scored by midfielder, David Abban and centre half, Marshal Akuettey.

Ghana National resumed the second half strongly but their hopes of pulling even were shattered when outside left, David Barnes increased Aggrey's, goal tally to three in the 55th minute.

In another encounter, Cape Coast Technical Institute beat Adisadel College 2-0 to qualify for the finals.

In the volleyball Girls event, Mfantsiman Secondary School beat Aggrey School by two sets (2-0) to qualify for the finals. 16 Jan. 07
