Adusei pleads with fans to support Black Stars

The role of fans in supporting teams, according to Adusei is very crucial in contributing to the success of teams.

Though the Black Stars in recent times have experienced mixed responses from fans, the defender who thrived before the locals in Kumasi when he donned the red shirt of Asante Kotoko is encouraging fans to pitch camp with the national team once again.

“The fans will need to get behind the team because without them, there will be a missing link,” he said.

“They need to back the team and show the same support that they offered previously to help the team return to great heights.”

Ghana started the rebuilding process by taking four points from their opening AFCON qualifying Group E encounters with Uganda and Togo last month.

Ghana were knocked out in the group stages after taking just one point amid rumours of a row over match fees, while Kevin Prince-Boateng and Sulley Muntari were both suspended by the GFA for breaches of discipline.
