Ade Coker enters FA race

Former GFA vice chairman, Ade Coker has declared his intention to run for the GFA Presidency.

Ade Coker now joins acting FA Chairman Kwesi Nyantakyi, Y.A Ibrahim, Kojo Bonsu and Vincent Sowah in the race for the December 30 elections.

Ade is expected to submit his nomination today to beat the December 9 deadline at the GFA?s secretariat.

The ex-Accra Great Olympics capo was the vice chairman of the football association during the era of Alhaji M.N.D Jawula.

The race for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association has now increased to five contestants and it is expected to gather steam next week.

The three front-runners for the job have all picked up their forms after nominations opened on Monday.

The acting FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former Adidas representative Kojo Bonsu and chairman of the Executive Council YA Ibrahim have all filed their nominations.

Vincent Sowah-Odotei, a business executive in Accra was the fourth to join the race for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association.
