Addy debuts for FC Porto in style

Ghana youth international David Addy made his official FC Porto debut on Wednesday night providing two assists in their 4-0 win over Rio Ave FC in the Cup semi-final second leg tie.

The 19-year-old left-back played the entire duration of the match and made a huge impact in Porto's 7-1 victory overall.

Firm favourites after a 3-1 away win in the first leg, Porto took the lead through Fernando Belluschi's superb free-kick after 21 minutes.

Ernesto Farias missed a 33rd-minute penalty after Ricardo Chaves brought down Diego Valeri, and the Dragons had to wait until the 79th for a second as substitute Freddy Guarín struck from range.

Rúben Micael's long-range effort (87) and Falcao's added-time header iced the cake for Porto.

Addy's performance on the night is expected to earn him a place for a league debut and in next month's Cup final against second division side Chaves.
