Adansiman effect changes

THE former Premier Division club Adansiman FC is vigorously undergoing a re-organisation exercise to return the club to the premier league next season.

Graphic learnt this in an interview with one of the executive officers at Obuasi.

Changes at the top hierarchy now have Alhaji Tahiru (aka Alhaji Boho) an Obuasi-based businessman and transport owner as the chairman of the club.

Also at the top is Mr Frank Akwasi Effah, a staunch supporter who dragged the GFA to court on the relegation slapped on the club at the close of last season. He has been elected the Team Manager with good old Barima Acheampong retaining his post as the club's secretary.

Speaking to the Graphic, Mr Effah said the re-organisation has enabled them to sign on new players to train for the First Division League which will cushion the club to return to the premier division.

He said Adansi citizens based in the United States and the United Kingdom have promised financial and material support to assist Adansiman to be on its feet and get rooted in the premier league.

In addition, Mr Effah emphatically assured the club's teeming supporters that plans are far advanced for those abroad to organise fund-raising activities for the welfare of the club.

He, therefore, called on supporters at home and elsewhere to get organised and assist the club financially and materially.

On the management of the club, he said their doors are open to all interested persons who would want to invest or join the board.

Mr Effah also invited defenders and strikers who have the club at heart to contact the new management for discussion and their subsequent signing on.
