Accra runs out of Volu 2008 application forms

Accra, Sept. 13, GNA - Accra Metropolis has run out of application forms for the Ghana 2008 Africa Cup of Nations Volunteering programme. Applications for the event dubbed "Volu 2008" was opened last Monday, September 10 at all the four venues of Accra, Kumasi, Sekondi and Tamale.

A visit to the Secretariat of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Ghana 2008 Africa Cup of Nations by the GNA Sports on Thursday revealed that the application forms for the exercise has run out of supply.

The nation's capital was allotted 2000 forms but interested participants made up of mostly the youth have scrambled to access all. Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Operating Officer of the LOC said the response has been very high and positive. He has advised members of the public to check at the other venues for the availability of the application forms.
