Accam: Chicago Fire stories untrue

Black Stars striker David Titi Accam has rubbished media reports he has agreed in principle to sign for MLS team, Chicago Fire.

Accam has confirmed leaving his former club Helsingborg in the Swedish top flight league but says he has no intention of joining an MLS side.

“Those reports about me joining a club in the USA are false, they are not true, I just don’t know why people will sit down to write that I’m going to the USA.”

“Yes I’m leaving my former club but I’m not joining any club in the MLS, this is simple.”

Accam is in Ghana, training with his former team, Right to Dream Academy and is expected to bore the shores of the country after Christmas to sort out his club future.
