AYEW SET FOR BUNDESLIGA SWITCH

PORTUGAL, Oct 4- Kwame Ayew, of Sporting Lisbon is set to join a mystery Bundesliga side this week, completing the player's search for a new club.

The Ghanaian international Ayew had been linked with a number of clubs in Europe, including Bradford, Rangers and Fenerbahce, since being told in the summer by Sporting coach Augustus Inacio that he did not figure in his plans for this season.

The 26-year-old front man had been set to move to German side Bochum recently, but after reportedly agreeing a pre-contract agreement with the Bundesliga club, the move collapsed at the last minute.

Ayew and his agent, Vanio Kostov, are now waiting to here back from another Bundesliga club on Friday, as the player to bring the curtain down on his stay in Portugal.
