£5m offer for Duncan Rejected

Alfred Duncan has been targeted by Sunderland English Premier League side Sunderland have made an offer to Inter Milan to sign Ghana U20 star Alfred Duncan.

According to the Sky Italia, the Black Cats' £5 million offer has been rejected with Inter seeing the player as an important part of their own future.

Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio has identified the midfielder as key to his building next season after steering the club to safety.

Also, the 20-year-old Ghanaian worked with Sunderland's recently confirmed new chief scout, Valentino Angeloni, at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Duncan came through the Nerazzurri academy where he spent the first half of the season at Inter.

He was loaned out to Livorno where he helped them to qualify to the Serie A after winning the Serie B final play-off against Empoli.
