Late MP’s kinsmen mad at God

-Attribute Killer’s Arrest to their gods

Town folks of slain New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu are angry at God for not shielding the late legislator from his assailant(s) despite his dedicated service to him when he was alive.
Kinsmen of the late MP say they cannot fathom why God looked unconcern while the late JB Danquah-Adu was cruelly murdered when the late MP was well known for his philanthropic activities to churches in the Abuakwa North constituency.

Speaking on Accra based Kasapa Fm, Kofi Oduro, who described himself as a relative of the late MP, said the family of the late JB Danquah-Adu is less amused with God’s inability to reward their fallen hero for his services to him.

“God has been too nonchalant for our liking. The way J.B Danquah helps the various churches in this area; we were shocked how God looked on for such calamity to befall someone like J.B Danquah,” he sorrowfully stated.

The late Abuakwa North MP was stabbed to death at his Shiashie residence during the wee hours of Tuesday, February 9, 2015 by assailant(s).
Police preliminary report indicates that the MP was stabbed at the stomach and the ribs with a sharp object they are yet to ascertain whether the object was a knife, bamboo or other objects.
In what has been lauded by many and compared to proficiency of the likes of security operations in the USA and United Kingdom, a team from the Ghana Police Service led by Greater Police Commander, COP DR George Akuffo Dampare, arrested one Daniel Asiedu who is alleged to have confessed to killing the MP.

While many including legislators, the President and close friends of the late MP continue to applaud the swiftness of the police in apprehending the suspected killer, some town folks of JB Danquah said it was their gods that arrested the alleged killer and not the police.

Rubbishing the police efforts in the arrest, Kofi Oduro noted “We are most grateful to the god of this town which is known as Agyampremu Kofi, for listening to our prayers… when this unfortunate incident happened, we bought drinks and poured libation asking our gods to expose whoever is behind this heinous crime.”
He added that their gods did not fail them as some hours later after the “rituals”, the alleged killer was exposed.

“…We had to fall on our gods in this matter to help us, and they did not fail us. We are extremely grateful to our god, Agyampremu Kofi for being good to us.”
According to him, but for Agyampremu Kofi the suspected killer, Daniel Asiedu, would not have been arrested.
