It's Alan As Nana's Vice

The weight of the chunk of the breaking news on ALAN KWADWO KYEREMATENG as NPP’S NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFFO-ADDO’S running mate, which broke hot from the coal-pot of THE SUN only last week has been given unofficial confirmation, thumb-printed, signed and sealed by a special think-tank, that sat elsewhere in Accra on what NPP stalwarts say was a GOOD FRIDAY.

Last week as the story broke hot from the THE SUN’S stove, incessant calls from the Seventh Heaven of NPP quarters were directed at the newspaper, as Party capos at the heart of the search wondered just how the leak bounced off their desks, straight into the paper’s columns within a relatively short time..

In that short space of time, the regions also joined the fray with Volta, Western and the three Northern regions desirous to know if indeed, they could place the punter’s bet on whether an iota of truth could be assigned the story.

THE SUN learnt that last week just as the news broke that, the NPP headquarters in Accra kept ringing and boiling with the news, as even so-called flesh-on-skull Party executives struggled to find the words to return the interest embedded in the inquisitive calls from the regions.

The now overly enthusiastic Volta region’s campaign caucus wired THE SUN for some more copies of the paper, and hardly had they been over and done with with the order than the trio of Northern regions buzzed for the same purposes. Interestingly but seriously, the radio stations had put a spin on the news and had so caressed the cockles of Party faithfuls’ hearts that, their appetite for the dream combination could no more be whetted or delayed.

One thing that emerged throughout the calls was that, the think-tanks may have made the choice the Party mass desire, which can accelerate beyond all expectations to bring over the infectious magic the presidential campaign has lacked all this while.

This effectively puts to sleep the horde of promotional stories that have done the rounds and increased with such regularity in the last weeks, ever since that vacant one slot came up for grabs within the NPP fold. No word has come out of any of the candidates jostling for the prestigious slot, but a cursory glance at the number throws up the hiccup some choices would have suffered with their lack-lustre and stale demeanour.
