Who Do You Believe? The Battle Between Good And Evil.

The greatest sin one can commit against God is not murder, neither is it adultery/fornication nor robbery but the sin of UNBELIEF/DISBELIEVE. That was the sin that Satan perpetrated against God from the beginning. That was the sin that the devil sold to Adam and Eve in the garden. God gave an instruction to Adam and Eve concerning the tree in the middle of the Garden, the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die”
But the devil persuaded them to DISBELIEVE God by telling them that, it is not logic for them to die because he has eating it and still leaving so nothing will happen to them should they also eat it, thereby branding God a LIAR.
Genesis 3:4 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die”
Eventually God’s creation BELIEVED the devil and DISBELIEVED God, they did not die physically though after eating it but they died spiritually and were separated from God.
God cannot create a person in his own image just for him to turn against him and DISBELIEVE him. That is the sin that pierces God like an arrow. Satan knows that pretty well, that is why he went ahead to create different false religions to challenge God's own religious order and command to further perpetrate the sin of UNBELIEF/DISBELIEVE against God. Satan continued to use knowledge of the world to challenge God. He equipped people with different kind of philosophies and high knowledge to make them believe they have superior knowledge and can challenge God's own word. He uses logic and philosophy to brand issues of faith as foolishness. But can a man discern the word of God in his/her carnal state of mind? As the bible puts it in
1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”
LOGIC is the opposite of FAITH and lack of faith is carnality (UNBELIEF/DISBELIEVE). That is the devils weapon and stock in trade. Anytime a man introduces a logical argument to counter cross issues of faith, it is a direct attack on the person of God because a carnal mind is enmity against God. As the bible rightly put it in
Romans 8:6-8 "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God"
Carnality is UNBELIEF/DISBELIEVE, anything that has to do with the supernatural that is not occasioned by the Holy Spirit is carnal. If you don’t know something, don’t assume! Assumptions are sometimes the devil’s suggestion and can lead you to carnality. The bible says in
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him”
The battle between God and the devil is all about BELIEF. Who do God’s creation like you and i BELIEVE? And who’s KNOWLEDGE do we ascribe to? Are we for FAITH or LOGIC?
After the fall of man, God made another attempt to reconciled mankind to him by sending his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him and confesses him as his lord and saviour shall be saved. God said you can’t believe in anything else except me through JESUS CHRIST to be saved but the devil said NO! There are other ways to go to heaven. He will cunningly tell you as you will mostly hear from other false religions that they also know JESUS but his is not the ULTIMATE. They will tell you it is all about knowing God not some JESUS who is a mere Prophet and a Messenger of God. As they will put it, “We are all worshiping one God and it does not lay in the mouth of any group of people to declare which religion is right or wrong, let’s leave it to God to Judge” but by the time you get to God then it is too late because in the spirit world there is no repentance as the bible puts it clearly in
Hebrews 9:27 that “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”
That time it will be too late to know Jesus, it will be too late to receive Christ, it will be too late to believe God. Jesus made an emphatic pronouncement in
John 14:6 that “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”
Should this statement be challenged in anyway, then it can only produce one outcome: That Jesus is a LIAR and God who sent him is a LIAR. Remember what transpired in the Garden? God said you shall surely die if you eat of the tree, the devil said you shall surely not die if you eat of the tree. Does this resonate with what Jesus said in John 14:6 and the claim of other religions that there are other ways to God?
False religion and false arguments are the devils ploy to deceive mankind the second time and that is the current war we fight as soldiers of Christ. That is why the bible stated in
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”
What are the strongholds of the devil? “ARGUMENTS AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALT ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD” (Logic) But the only way to defeat the devil is to bring into captivity every of such knowledge (thought) into the obedience of Christ.
Getting to understand the bible is in two dimensions, the logos (the written word) and the rhema (the spoken word), you can read the plain text (logos) and use it for arguments and any other challenge but to know the spirit-controlled word the rhema which is the revelation of the logos, and any other thing you don’t understand, then you need to seek knowledge. Just ask God in submission and he will send his spirit the Holy Ghost to give you fellowship and revelation.
Don’t be deceived, even good men and the most self-righteous cannot enter in to the Kingdom of God (Heaven) only believers would. A murderous believer is better than the most holy and righteous unbeliever because the former by his believe will see the king of Glory. If you don’t believe this statement, just cast your mind back to the cross, the arm robber who got saved just by believing him at that last moment. I besiege you the one reading this piece to leave behind every other argument, logic and philosophies and make that holy decision to accept CHRIST fully and leave for him alone.
