Glorious Harvest Ministries organises camp for orphans

Glorious Harvest Ministries Church, in Ga South Municipal Assembly, has held a three- day camp for orphans, foster and vulnerable children within the church and neighbouring communities.

The camp which is the pilot launch of the Royal Family Kids Ghana, was aimed at treating the children in a royal manner as well as giving them the chance to feel loved and cared for during the Christmas festivities.

Reverend Joshua Ernest Tay, Senior Pastor Glorious Harvest Ministries Church and Camp Director told Ghana News Agency that the church organises the event for the children to enable them feel part of the society.

He noted that the camp was meant for kids from six to 12 years.

“This is the day children under these circumstances are given the chance and freedom to play safe and have so much fun away from home,” he added.

He said the camp is used as an opportunity to give the children good food, to ensure their safety amidst exciting moments without looking at their negativities.

Rev Tay said there are orphans and vulnerable children out there who are hurting and as such people should show concern and care for these children to feel loved by the society.

A birthday party was organised for all the kids, and each of them was given a birthday present.
