Apostle challenges Christians to seek national development

Apostle Joseph Sakyi, Christian Education Director of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), has asked Christians to eschew wickedness and sin, and seek the development of the nation.

"We on this occasion, advice Christians to have the nation at heart and support the government, so that Ghana would be counted among the great nations of the world," he added.

Apostle Sakyi made the call when he delivered Good Friday sermon at the Easter convention, organised by the CACI Osu area branch on the theme: "Catching the Fire of the End-Time Revival."

He urged Christians to support one another, and strive to do the will of God, adding that "this is the true spirit of Christianity".

Apostle Sakyi asked Christians to be truthful, faithful and believe in the word of God adding "the blood of Jesus Christ paved the way for the Holy Ghost to come to the world and empower man, who is just a mortal."

He said by the blood, "we have the promise of the Spirit of God. We are no more weaklings. We are supernaturally powerful”.

Apostle Sakyi reminded Christians that the blood of Jesus took away their fears and guaranteed their salvation.

He asked Christians have faith in God and build upon their Christian lives, so that they did not get easily shaken by the trials of life.
