Prophet cautions Ghanaians against lose talk

Accra, Oct 30, GNA - Prophet Kwame Darko-Mensah, head Pastor of God’s Disciple College Church, Oyarifa, Accra, has cautioned Ghanaians to guard their tongues against irresponsible or lose talk that could plunge the country into chaos as Election 2012 gets closer.

He said: ” the tongue though a small part of the body can cause disaster for the people and the entire nation if not guarded.”

Prophet Kwame Darko-Mensah, who preaching at the church on the theme: “Salvation”, referred to the Bible, James 5:3, and said the tongue was like a little fire, a world of iniquity that defiled the whole body and could set on fire the course of nature if not controlled.

He appealed to Ghanaians to seek peace, unity and love, the attributes of God, for the progress of society and expressed worry that some people insulted others, talked loosely and caused confusion among people and this separated them from God.

Prophet Darko-Mensah said “We use our tongue loosely and at the same praise Gog and pray to Him to help us”, which had brought untold hardships and calamities unto people.

He asked Ghanaians to emulate the character of Jesus Christ, who demonstrated love, peace, compassion and spoke against those who condemned others.

Prophet Darko-Mensah said “the world was lost and the Father was coming to take his world back and people should be prepared for the work ahead. If we become righteous, then, we can be saved and whoever has the Son has life and he who does not have the son has no life”.
