Muslims urged to show kindness this Ramadan

Akim Anyinam, Sept. 6, GNA - Alhaji Seidu Karim, an opinion leader of the Muslim Community at Akyem Anyinam, on Monday urged Muslims to use the Ramadan to show kindness and sympathy to others to reflect on the tenets of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

Addressing Muslims at Akyem Anyinam, Alhaji Karim reminded them that Ramadan meant a period of fasting, prayers and forgiveness to one another.

He explained that every festival in the world should have objectives.

Dwelling on the aims of Ramadan, Alhaji Karim also urged Muslims to see the period as a time to unite and share what they have with the ordinary person.

He said Muslims must show a deep sense of respect to the five pillars of Islam, prepare themselves spiritually, and let others know that Ramadan is a period of total change. Alhaji Karim said Holy Prophet Mohammed listened and made sacrifice to mankind as Allah directed him and led a holy and decent life worthy of emulation.
