Churches in Ho offer thanks to God

Ho, Jan. 4, GNA - Some Churches in Ho on Sunday offered special thanks to God for heeding to prayers of Ghanaians for peaceful General Election last year.

The Churches dedicated Sunday service to thanking God for peaceful elections. The Ghana News Agency observed that there was excitement at the Churches as the congregation sung and danced displaying National Democratic Congress (NDC) paraphernalia.

At the Jubilee Christian Centre, worshippers sang and danced to songs about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the NDC thanking God for ensuring peaceful elections and unity among the people. Reverend James Noble Tulasi of the Centre asked Christians to remain united irrespective of their political differences. At the Redeem Evangelical Church, Pastor Anthony Asimadi, Resident Pastor, led worshipers to sing, dance and praise God for showering peace on the country before, during and after the elections. Rev. Edem Yao Ofori of the Global Evangelical Church, cautioned supporters of the NDC to celebrate the party's victory peacefully since it was an achievement by all Ghanaians.
