Religious organisation undertakes clean-up exercise

Ho, Dec. 24, GNA- The Volta Regional branch of the Ghana Youth For Christ, a religious organization, on Monday organised a clean-up exercise in Ho to herald this year's Christmas celebrations. The group under the leadership of Reverend Jerry Hanson Wedanu, the Regional Coordinator of the organisation, led the group to clear weeds, remove cobwebs and de-silt drains at the Ho Regional Hospital, the offices of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and the Ghana News Agency. Rev. Wedanu told the GNA that the exercise was part the group's initiative to ensure a clean environment, especially during the Christmas celebration.

Madam Doris Nyonator, Assistant Matron of the Hospital, expressed gratitude to the group and said their initiative gave meaning to the saying that" cleanliness is next to Godliness". She urged the group to remain committed to the work of God and be role models to other youths.
