The Right Reverend Benjamin K. Asare, Methodist Bishop of Obuasi, preaching at the end of the conference, asked the choristers to be true disciples of Jesus Christ to enable them to win more souls for the Church.

He observed that it was easy to be a Christian but difficult to be a true disciple of Christ and appealed to Christians to be obedient to God to enable them enter the kingdom of heaven.

Bishop Asare urged the choristers to be disciplined and to care for the sick and needy in society.
