Members of Church of Pentecost urged to maintain doctrine

Koforidua, Dec. 18, GNA - The General Secretary of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Alfred Kodua has called on the members of the church to maintain the beautiful doctrine, teachings and songs which the founders of the church left for them.

He regretted that in recent times, one could hear of a Church of Pentecost Assembly organizing an all night prayers where all that one could hear was noise that no human being could understand.

Apostle Kodua urged the leaders of the church and its members to pray in languages that both God and humans could understand. He was delivering the sermon at the dedication of a new 420 million cedis all glass church building of Koforidua Pentecost International Worship Centre at Koforidua on Sunday

The Juatuahene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Nana Yaw Boateng I cut the tape for the inauguration of the Church building. The District Secretary of the Church of Pentecost, Elder Samuel Opoku-Asare said the new auditorium, which had been Christian, Miracle Sanctuary, was started on August 24, 2006 and completed within 100 days.
