Gospel musician Danny Nettey performs to "intercede for the nation"

Accra, May 19, GNA - Danny Nettey, one of the country's finest gospel artistes and composers, is to perform in an event dubbed "Secret Place worship", whose objectives include interceding for the nation through worship. According to organisers of the event to be held on May 29 at the ICGC Holy Ghost Temple at Frafraha in Accra, the objective is also to foster unity among the population as a people with one God. "It is (also) to intercede for the nation through worship because when we agree in worship, a corporate anointing is released, yokes are broken, healing takes place and the land (Ghana) yields its fruits," says a press release sent to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Thursday.

Danny Nettey, a minister of the Gospel, is the composer of several songs such as "I will worship you", "Metease a", "Adom", "I am the Lord", "Revive us", "Sanctify me" and "In your presence".

He will be joined at the Secret Place Worship by Nii Okai Okai, Cwasi Oteng (Eds correct), Willie&Mike, Pastor Helen Yawson and the IAT worship team. The press release notes that as a nation, God has been good to Ghana in diverse ways.

"He's kept us from all sorts of evil and consistently blessed us with His peace and love. This demonstrated love cannot be paid for in any way, but as a nation, we can at least gather with a sincere heart and give God true worship as a sign of acknowledgement of God's love towards us."
