Global evangelical church- Bethesda youth ministry holds handing-over ceremony

The two term of Seyram Buami as youth president of the Global evangelical church came to an end on Sunday, September 9th

Seyram Buami served the youth ministry for 4years starting from 13th of July, 2014 to 9th September, 2018

In his handing note address, the out-going president entreated the incoming administration to stand firm in the word of God and seek God’s face in every decision they take

He shared some successes his administration chalked during his tenure.

During his tenure he had a vibrant ministry that won, Trophies for all zone activities (Quiz and football), Debaters, and the ‘Golden Censer Games’ organized in 2014,that is 4 trophies won. Again, his administration also put the ministry and Church on the National front through rebranding, in terms of its outfits, Bible School, Evangelistic works etc.

This efforts saw the Youth ministry being represented on the front of the Global light newspaper, after our Youth Camp at Suhum in 2014 and Sogakope in 2015. By dint of hardwork, the youth ministry had the rare opportunity in support of Teshie Youth Ministry to lead over 300 National Youth Ministry congregations to Evangelise at Ho in 2016 during Youth Camp and 2018.

In addition, he mentioned that his administration set up a Proficiency and Bible School which built the capacity of the youths for God and Country. Studies from this School span across areas of Baptism, Deliverance, Quiet time, Christian growth and maturity.

According to him, the policy heavily capitalized on the rich services of the Student pastors, notable among them were now Rev.Adzove, Rev, Ocansey, Rev. Raymond Ayivi, Rev.Ashiaby. Also, they purchased the first ever, Public Address System, an organ, 4 extension boards, a sustain pedal, huge cupboard , set of hose to match football Jerseys, Youth Lacoste, Youth Ministry branded T-shirt for the Choreography Team.

He stated that his administration focused mainly on Evangelism. With the belief that ‘’a Christian who does not take up the work of Evangelism is worse than an unbeliever’’.
