Church of Pentecost unveils building at Atonsu

For more than 50 years, the dream of the Church of Pentecost at Atonsu in Mampong to get a permanent structure to worship, materialised, when a 450-seater capacity church was dedicated for the congregation.

A six-bedroom mission house was also provided for the church.

Pastor Joseph Dwira Eshun, the District Pastor said through the grace of God the structure, which has gone through series of renovation has now been completed.

Apostle Daniel Owusu Achaw, New Tafo District Pastor and the newly called Apostle and Missionary to Zambia in a sermon on the theme: "The most important service to God," he said, building a temple for God is very important in the sight of God.

He asked Christians to allow the word of God to reform them in order to demonstrate excellent service.

Apostle Achaw said: “In order to give a rewarding account as good stewards, we ought to seek the most important and exclusive service to God.”

Apostle S. O. Asante, New Tafo Area Head, said Christians should not allow the demands of life to twist their divine focus, adding “all and sundry should rend their hearts to offer their best to God in order to receive the best from the Master.
