Church leaders asked to consider themselves as special people

Reverend David Ocansey, General Secretary of the Ghana Baptist Convention, has advised Church leaders to consider themselves as special people for the noble task in the Lord’s Vine Yard.

He also asked them to renew their faith in God, who in His divine mercy and grace has called them into His ministry.

Rev. Ocansey made the call at a ceremony organised to give dressing gown to Rev. Kwasi Adu-Sarpong, Associate Minister of the First Baptist Church at Community ‘5’, in Tema over the weekend.

Rev. Ocansey urged the Associate Minister to use his divine talent to rescue God’s people from darkness into the light.

The General Secretary of the Church asked pastors to emulate Jesus Christ for his love and humility.

Rev Adu-Sarpong asked the congregation to support him to enable him live up to expectation.

Rev Osei Kwabena Nkrahene, Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church, and other officiating ministers were present at the ceremony.
