Church asked to ensure wellbeing of people

Kumasi, Feb. 15, GNA - The Asawasi Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), has marked its 50th anniversary with a call on the Church to=

ensure the wellbeing of the people including members. The Right Reverend Dr. Yaw Frimpong-Manso, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church, said there was the need for the Church to support=

its members to enter into income-generating activities to improve their standards of living.

"We should at all times be seen to be sharing with each other no mat= ter how little our resources are to bring some comfort to our fellow Christia= ns so that they would worship God in truth and honesty", he said. Rev. Dr. Frimpong-Manso called on Ghanaians to be law-abiding disciplined, patriotic and work towards economic growth. Rev Budu Asiaw, Asawasi, District Minister of the Church, commended the founding fathers for laying the foundation for the growth of the Church.
