Christians urged to seek the truth

Accra, Sept. 30, GNA - Mr Felix Adedokun, Vice Chairman of God's Kingdom Society, has called on Christians to seek the truth that would gran= t them eternal life rather than dwelling on miracles that would not give them salvation. He said currently the activities of false prophets had shifted the attention of Christians from acquiring knowledge based on the word of God t= o promoting their deceitfulness.

Mr Adedokun told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra that 93It is th= e truth in the word of God and not miracles that would bring salvation to mankind." He said this supposed men of God used their activities to enrich themselves to the detriment of their followers, noting the devil could also perform miracles. He urged Christians to look for the truth, through what was being preached in the Bible and also to question their pastors and demand answers based on the Bible. Again, Mr Adedokun told Christians to take delight in studying the wor= d of God and reading the Bible regularly to understand the signs of the end time.
