Christians urged to give their lives to Jesus

Takoradi, Dec. 26, GNA - Pastor Kojo Impraim, Takoradi District Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, on Saturday, called on the disadvantaged, marginalized and the poor in society, to take advantage of Christmas and give their lives to Jesus to transform and elevate them. Preaching the sermon at a Christmas Service, at the Takoradi Central Assemblies of God Church, he said Jesus would elevate those, who turn to Him, no matter their condition.

Pastor Impraim said Christmas 93is a blessing to the 93Least" in s= ociety; those that people look down upon". He said Jesus came from the least tribe but became the saviour of mankind. Pastor Impraim urged the people to thank God for the abundant blessing= s that he has bestowed on them and the country. He said oil has been discovered in the country by the grace of God and not through efforts of men.

Pastor Impraim asked the people to bury their political and tribal differences, so that the oil would be a blessing to the country. "They should not encourage people, who want to divide them on political, tribal and economic lines", he said. Pastor Impraim appealed to the government to pay attention to the development of the Western Region, which had contributed so much, in terms of resources, towards the development of the country, adding that, 93One should not destroy the hen that lays the golden egg".
