Christians should learn to wait for Godâ??s promises

Aflao, Dec. 25, GNA-Rev Solomon Paintsil, Ketu-South District Pastor of Assemblies of God, has urged Christians to learn to wait for the fulfillment of promises made to them no matter how long they take.

He said just as the birth of Jesus came in fulfillment of a promise made many years earlier, God would redeem promises made to man according to his own timetable.

Rev Paintsil was delivering a sermon at a joint Christmas service by the Aflao cluster of Assemblies of God Churches on Sunday at Aflao.

He noted that man’s failure to look up to God brought him many complex problems that he continued to battle with.

Rev Paintil said God has control over all spheres of life and any Christian who failed to wait on him risked living lives opposed to the Christian doctrine.

He asked Ghanaians to always love and preach peace as they receive the birth of the Saviour and remain generous and forgiving.
