Ahmadiyya spiritual head arrives

Accra, April 16, GNA - The spiritual leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul Masih V, arrived in Accra by on Tuesday for a week's official visit during which he will participate in the centenary celebration of the Mission in Ghana, scheduled for April 17-19. He will launch the Ahmadiyya agriculture farm at Pomadze, near Winneba, and open a Mosque at the Ahmadiyya Secondary School at Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region. He will open another Mosque at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary Training College at Ekumfi Essurkyir also in the Central Region.

During a brief address to journalists, the Ahmadiyya spiritual leader commended Ghanaians for living in peace despite the existence of different religions. He also urged Muslims to remain united in their faith. At the airport to welcome the Ahmadiyya spiritual leader was Maulvi Wahab Adam, Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, as well as some high ranking officials of the Mission.
