More qualify for National pool tournament finals

The second weekend of the 2014 national pool tournament broke balls to a huge success as three more players beat a huge field of equally good players at three qualifying centres in Accra to add their name to the list of finalists for the nationwide competition.

Roland Destiny, George Kuku and Nana Danquah have emerged as potential candidates to be this year's Ghana pool champion after claiming victories to grab themselves one of the 65 tickets available to November's grand finals in Accra.

Roland Destiny qualified from Wendy's Pub at Addo-Gono, George Kuku topped competitors at Royal Palm qualifying centre in Nungua whilst Nana Danquah was the champion at Pool-Bar, venue, along the Spintex Road.

The event is billed to tour a total of 64 qualifying centres across Ghana, with the winners of each venue qualifying for the grand finals to face defending champion, Shehu Bamidele for the 2014 championship on November 22.
