Japan Ambassador hosts Judo at Accra Sports Stadium

Ahead of the upcoming Japan week to commence on Friday 7th November 2014,the media held an exclusive up close interview with the Japanese Ambassador His Excellency Koaru Yoshimura at his residence last week.
The interaction centered mainly on the upcoming Japan Week which rolls off on Friday and how the expectation will be.Mr.Yoshimura threw more light on this years theme"bringing Japan close to you" adding the major pre-occupation of the celebration is to draw japan close to the people of Ghana through culture.
He believed last years edition was a success but will be more better this year referring to the massive effort injected by the Ghanaian media in its publicity.
His Excellency the Japanese ambassador expressed his elation for being part of this years event after assuming office barely a month ago.
As part of the Japan week celebrations, three separate events will be held:the 7th November will be a movie night for kids and adults respectively at the Silver Bird lounge.
On the 8th of November,which forms the core of the event,the Yosakoi festival will be held to demonstrate Japanese culture and traditions, then the final activity day 9th November will see the Ambassador's Judo Championship and Karate demonstrations at the Accra Sports Stadium.
