Karatekas called for camping

Accra, May 14, GNA - A 16 member Karatekas has been selected by the Ghana Karate Do Association (GKA) for a special residential camping at the National Hockey Stadium in Accra.

The camping scheduled between 16th - 22nd May, is to prepare the team for the 13th Africa Karatedo Senior Championship slated for South Africa in August this year.

A statement from the secretariat of the Association copied to GNA Sports said the one week training programme will be under the technical guidance of Sadisu Mahama, the technical director and coaches' Kwabena Poku and Sensei Danso Bekoe. The statement said the team is expected to be put in the best of shapes for the championship.
