David Atuwo left the Achimota Golf Club as the September Medal play winner after scoring a 70 net, beating Sherlock Quinton and Daniel Abodi Klenn on count-back last Saturday.

He attributed his impressive score to constant practice and good putting on the day.

Ragheda Khalil, finished first in the ladies event after a 72 net score, beating Philisia Njomba on count back, who in turn beat Jessica Tei by two strokes.

Deon Jonck picked the men’s B ultimate event with a score of 65, while Japhet Achola and Kweku Appietu Ankrah followed.

Veteran Amos Korblah delivered a gross score of 68 to win the pros event, while Robert Degbe, 70, and Stephen Klah, 7, followed in that order.

Waren Hawkins, 71, finished as the Guest Player winner with Paul Ondiwa, 73, in second position. Amoafo Yeboah went home with the closest to the pin prize.

Club captain Frank Adu Jnr again commended members for keeping the Course tidy and turning up in their numbers.

“I must say I am encouraged by the turn out, taking into account the tight schedule in the just-ended Ghana Open. Let’s keep patronising the monthly events; the benefits can’t be quantified in monetary terms,” Mr. Adu Jr stressed.

The Medal play was sponsored by Mr. Ofori Boateng.
